The ruins had never been empty. They had simply been waiting, holding within their weathered stones the quiet memory of another time. This project embraces those traces, allowing the past to become the foundation for a new life.
Two small ruins are gently transformed into a home for a family of four, where childhood, adulthood and the passing of generations unfold side by side.
Between the two volumes, a delicate pace emerges: one of gathering and one of retreat, where shared spaces become the stage for laughter, meals and fleeting everyday rituals while private rooms offer silence, shelter and the freedom to grow.
Here, architecture listens. It allows old memories to linger beneath new footsteps so that every wall carries both remembrance and possibility and every day adds another layer to the story the ruins have been telling all along.

Every ruin is a memory that refused to disappear
